Edwin Allen athlete receives head injury during training

Edwin Allen High School's Marleena Eubanks has suffered a big setback a week before the ISSA Boys' and Girls' Athletics Championships.



Eubanks, Edwin's top middle distance athlete had to be rushed to the Spalding Hospital yesterday after suffering a head injury.



During training, Eubanks was hit by a discus thrown by Demar Gayle .



Her injury has also ruled her out of this weekend's CARIFTA Trials at the National Stadium to select the team to go to The Bahamas later this month.
