Prosper senior Lauren Lewis won the MileSplit Girl's Performer of the Week poll last week. She didn't win just by garnering the most votes, but she did it by running two 23.x races in the along with a 53.01 and a 52.52 in the 400m all in the same day at the Jesuit-Sheaner Invitational.
We caught up with Lewis to discuss her win in the poll as well as her outstanding performances and day that led to the poll win. The University of Texas signee talks about her decision to choose UT to continue her student-athletic career as well as her plans for the rest of the 2023 outdoor track and field season.
