Members of The College of the Bahamas track team headed to Daytona Beach, Florida this weekend to compete in the Embry Riddle University Last Chance Invitational.
There is great urgency for the new Thomas A. Robinson National Stadium to be fully within the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) Certification Systems in time for the CARIFTA Trials, scheduled to begin March 15. With the repairs to the old Thomas A Robinson Track and Field Stadium in preparation for the 2013 Carifta Games, the National Sports Authority has made the new Thomas A Robinson Track and Field Stadium available not only to the Bahamas Association of Athletic Associations, but also some of the schools for their inter-school track and field meets.
